The northern section of the site sustained serious damage by the first Allied bombings. On the left side the northern tip of the main bunker can be seen. Next to it are probably the launch silos for the A4/V2 rockets. Note that the exact launch location is disputed. The current version of the guide book, as well as the models on display, inform that the rockets would have been launched on concrete launching pads outside at the southern tip of the main bunker. However, no evidence of such construction can be seen.
