Immediately after entering the main building a passage leads to the right. This is where rockets were off-loaded on their way to storage in the lower part of the bunker. The stairs to the lower, flooded, parts have been filled thus rendering a large part of the site inaccessible. A V2 rocket has been painted on the walls suggesting that it was the intention to fire rockets from concrete launching pads outside of the building. However, no evidence of such construction can be witnessed and, moreover, large wholes would have to be made in the main bunker to allow for the rockets to move outside to the launching pads. It is thus more likely that rockets would have been launched from two launch silos at the northern side of the site.
